I’m Ahmed Gadir, a senior software engineer.

I’m based in London, and through GadirLabs I build and launch web and mobile apps for founders, from the idea to the app stores, and finish apps founders have already started. You work with me directly, from the first call to the handover.

I’ve been a software engineer for eight years. By day I lead platform architecture across teams at a global compliance-technology company. Before that I worked on Coremont’s financial portfolio platform, and I started at AG Grid, the enterprise data grid, where I supported developers using React, Angular and Vue, wrote the help-centre guides and represented the product at conferences in the US and Europe.

Alongside that, I built and launched ArabyBuddy, an Arabic-learning app, on the App Store and Google Play in 2026, with realtime voice AI, subscriptions and an AI content pipeline that writes and checks its lessons. The app runs with analytics, release monitoring and a dashboard I built to manage it: the same work I now do for clients.

Outside work, I train Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
